Custom Brand & Squarespace Website for a Live Illustrator and Window Painter
Illustrator Katie Chappell is a virtual scribe and live event illustrator best known for her fresh wobbly illustration and giant live window paintings. She has created live illustrations for global clients including Apple, Facebook, Google, Chromebook, BT, Dove and Nespresso among many others. Katie had outgrown her beloved first website and was looking to level up with a fresh new online presence that would simplify her message, appeal to her high-end corporate audience, reflect her bright personality, and show off her incredible super-power skills.
We designed a brand for Katie that is bright, bold, and modern, yet remains grounded, professional, and familiar for her target audience. We used a blocky, playful font and incorporated custom buttons and elements to add movement and visual interest while highlighting Katie’s incredible illustrated work.
